Welcome!
Hello and Welcome!
You've wandered into my Gardening Blog! Have a seat and don't mind the dirt. My name is Rebekah. I've been a gardener ever since I was little and my parents had a garden. I always loved having my hands in the dirt and nurturing plant life.
I bought my own house recently, so I have lots of space now to grow things, and I wanted to document it here. I have the ground floor space near the front door with green plants, rare stuff, and flowers, the sitout near my office with flowers, succulents, and herbs, and the terrace with the vegetables and fruits.
I'll spare you naming them all right now, as I'll get into some of the different plants in future blogs. None of my spaces have open ground, I'm restricted to container gardening, but we have ample sunlight, and it works. We'll talk about the bees, the mushrooms, and the worm farm at some point, too.
Learning what each plant likes and doesn't like has been educational. I've never been particularly great at this before now, but partly because apartments are super difficult to grow things in, and I never had a watering schedule. Mainly the watering schedule thing. It's been a game changer. I'm diving into fertilizing, types of dirt, and paying attention to needed sunlight, too.
So come along for the walk through and feel free to leave tips and comments if you have them - I love reading them!
~Rebekah~
